Colour, 2nd Edition

INTRODUCTION

This second edition of Color: A Workshop for Artists and Designers is based upon a course of study that I originally developed at the Rhode Island School of Design. Over the past 22 years, I have had the opportunity to teach this course at several colleges including RISD, Brooklyn College, and Adelphi University as well as in short-term workshops for professional artists in the United States and Canada.

The first edition was published in 2005. It presented the color curriculum I had refined over the years while working with textile designers, weavers, quiltmakers, graphic designers, painters, and illustrators.
