I have read a number of books where the author spent an entire chapter explain something. And I dutifully followed the topic for the entire chapter. In most cases, I felt that I understood the material. But when it came time to actually put it into practice, I did not know how to proceed. For that reason, I will run the risk of showing you something that you already know. I am going to give you a step-by-step set of instructions to create an ATL project that implements persistent storage. With Visual C++ running, create a new ATL project.
