Queued Component Architecture
When detailing an architecture such as Queue Components, it is often easier to illustrate key points using a standard example. Therefore, I'll use the example of a simple remote order entry system that supports disconnected sales people via Queued Components. Figure 27.1 shows a high-level view of how the client would interact with this component. As you wind your way through this section, I will focus more and more on exactly how the component is marked as queued and how the data flows from the client to the component.
