In my final chapter, I thought it would be quite strange to look at the future of Blockchain technology, when at the beginning I state that we are only at version 0.7 or 0.8. To talk about the future seems far away, but this is not the case. The speed at which Blockchain technology is growing will mean the future thoughts will be a reality much sooner than we think. Even the crazy ideas will have been tested and working, or parked in the learning pile for reference.

We are at an exciting time in the Blockchain revolution and here are a few thoughts on what the long-term future may look like.

What Will Blockchain Technology Look Like in 2025?

Focusing now on the future of Blockchain technology, I am going to share my views of the future, and then I am pleased to share the future thinking from a few of my colleagues from around the Blockchain world.

I have asked them to give me no more than 500 words on their view of the future of Blockchain technology, and their thoughts and opinions follow (a few of my contributors are not the best at sticking to word counts, but they have some great future thoughts for you to enjoy).
