Mario Moussa, PhD, teaches in EDP and oversees the HPT observer team. He is the co-director of the Wharton Strategic Persuasion Workshop and the co-author (with G. Richard Shell) of The Art of Woo: Using Strategic Persuasion to Sell Your Ideas. As a management consultant, Mario advises leaders at the world's top companies about organizational effectiveness, strategy, and change.

Madeleine Boyer is a doctoral candidate in anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a lecturer at the Wharton School. She is also a business anthropologist who consults for Fortune 500 companies on teamwork, collaboration, and managing organizational culture.

Derek Newberry, PhD, is a business anthropologist specializing in the human factors that drive organizational effectiveness. He is a lecturer at the Wharton School and teaches in the Wharton Executive Education program. He also consults for Fortune 500 companies and leading nonprofits on enhancing collaboration and managing organizational culture.

Joanne Baron, PhD, is a lecturer in the department of anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2013, she has worked in EDP, where she has been an observer and also taken the role of foreign government. She has also worked on developing the EDP simulation, adding cultural challenges for participants to overcome.
