EURO CYCLE, SEASONAL PATTERN, AND TRADING GUIDE

The euro is quoted in terms of the U.S. dollar, which is considered the world's reserve currency in which most internationally traded goods are priced. This contract from a historic perspective is relatively new. One can adjust the value to reflect the more historic theoretical value by combining the prices of the German Deutsche mark, the French franc, and the Italian lira.

We are keeping a close eye on the euro's seasonal trends. They are still evolving due to its relatively short 13-year history. In addition, the European bank crisis has been muting and magnifying the euro's value and seasonal pattern, especially as the Greek, Spanish, Italian and other euro zone nation's economies recover.
