So Why Be Literate?

Financial literacy and economic literacy, as defined before, most certainly sound like concepts and ideas that should form the cornerstone of any management handbook or entrepreneurial mindset when founding, developing, or growing a business. So, why then, are so many organizations hamstrung by working capital shortages, or a lack of capital fundraising at the founding of the organization? Money, as the saying goes, makes the world go “round,” and this is certainly true when it comes to business, but many small to medium size business owners seem to not invest the time and energy necessary to develop true understanding.
