Energize Rather Than Demoralize
You must become what you want to attract.
The caller early Monday morning identified herself as the CEO of a large commercial real estate firm. I listened as she introduced herself again, reminding me that we’d met a year earlier when she had accompanied her daughter to our training center to be groomed for her rise to executive management in the family business.
“I need to meet with you today,” the caller said. “Preferably in the next hour or two. Can you come here? That would be better. Or I can come there if I have to. . . . My head is splitting. You’re out by the airport, if I recall? Off 121?”
