You will rise on the vertical axis of Emotional Connection by sharing warmth and competence (through your behaviors). But there is another way for you to increase your emotional connection to your audience: through the way you liven up your content.

This is good news for all of you leaders out there who are low on the vertical axis in terms of the behavioral skills alone. Of course, it’s best when you pair these two elements: behavior and content.
