Digital diversity continues to drive today’s audio industry, and it is giving consumers more ways than ever to enjoy digital audio. The industry has released a number of digital audio options designed to enhance the realism and impact of prerecorded music through surround-sound and home theater technology, deliver new digital audio download and streaming options via the Internet, and provide Internet-delivered music without users being tied to a computer.
