Chapter 10. Artwork Development and Board Fabrication
Developing artwork for the board design was briefly introduced in Chapter 2. Here we look at this step in greater detail.
Schematic Design in Capture
As with the previous examples, we use a simple circuit to minimize those details and allow us to focus on the board layout and manufacturing steps. The circuit (shown in Figure 10-1) consists of a 10-pin PCB connector (J1), a bypass capacitor (C1), a logic IC (U1), load resistors (R1 and R2), and two plated mounting holes that electrically connect the Ground plane to the PCB’s mounting bracket.
