One of the goals of social network analysis is to identify actors with outstanding properties: the most influential, the most efficient, the most irreplaceable—in other words, the most important. CNA, in general, is also looking at the most important nodes: key products in product networks; key words in semantic networks; key events in the networks of events, and the like.
