Papaver hybridium “Naughty Nineties”—To photograph this very special poppy blossom, I placed the flower on a black velvet background and used a sequence of exposures to make sure I could render the center of the flower without overexposing it.

Nikon D850, 135mm Zeiss Apo Sonnar, 24mm extension tube, four exposures with shutter speeds ranging from 0.8 of a second to 10 seconds, each exposure at f/22 and ISO 64, tripod mounted.
