Disaster Recovery—The concept of disaster recovery is to minimize the impact of a disaster or disruption to the business. A recovery plan is used to quickly restore the company’s systems.
Business Continuity—A business continuity plan enables a business to restore and/or remain functional in spite of a disruption. A business continuity plan usually includes a disaster recovery plan, as well as details for other significant events such as a cyber attack or major security breach, which if not handled correctly could force the company to close.
