The easiest way to keep a computer safe is by physically isolating it from outside contact. With the way organizations do business today, this is virtually impossible. We have a global economy and our networks are becoming increasingly more complex. Domain 1 of the Security+ exam requires that you are familiar with securing the devices on the network.
