6.1. Explain redundancy planning and its components.
Disaster recovery plans (DRPs) should encompass every aspect of an organization. A DRP focuses on restoration of business processes. Additionally, DRP planning encourages the deployment of redundancy in order to prevent downtime. The following sections discuss several redundancy planning options.
