Virtual Private Networks

With the incredible advance of the Internet, it has become more and more popular to set up virtual private networks (VPNs) within organizations. Two types of VPNs are typically employed. The first will connect two separate local area networks (LANs), in different locations, to each other; while the second is a single remote computer connecting through the Internet, back to the home network.
