So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

An EnScript Primer
The EnCase suite of products has a built-in programming language called EnScript where investigators can automate repetitive tasks. Full-blown applications can be built in EnScript. There is even a packaging facility to allow you to share your work with other users, and Guidance Software has launched their App Central Developer Network program to give programmers a market for trading and sharing EnScripts. In fact, EnScript is what their eDiscovery product is built upon, and why it requires EnCase Enterprise to run—it needs the scripting environment support from the core product.
