So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding the Project Server
Before discussing about the server let us look at the definitions of two important terms, namely program management and portfolio management. Program management is the process of managing several related projects together with the intention of improving an organization’s performance. Portfolio is a collection of programs, projects, and operations managed as a group. The components of a portfolio may not necessarily be interdependent or even related—but they are managed together as a group to achieve strategic objectives.
