RIGGING
Rigging is a specialized field that requires a great deal of practical and theoretical knowledge. A qualified rigger is legally required in most parts of the world to rig the points for attachment of the chain motors.
RIGGING OF POINTS
To rig the points in suitable positions, the rigger must first know how to make up bridles on the ground. For example, in a venue with rigging beams 15 feet apart and 60 feet above the floor and a stage 6 feet high, at least 30 feet of clearance is required between the stage and the motor hook.
