My Professional Poker Career

After two years of high-stakes poker, I was ready for anything.

For the next two years, I made my living playing on the high-stakes poker circuit. The lessons I learned from competing against the best poker players in the world continue to influence my career on a daily basis. I consider the time I spent playing professional poker the equivalent of earning my M.B.A. The demanding dog-eat-dog atmosphere of the high-stakes poker scene prepared me not only for being a better entrepreneur but also for surviving the cutthroat world of big business.
