When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

IS IT WORTH IT?
Yes. Nothing would have stopped me the first time, and nothing has stopped me the second and third times, and who knows about the future? The satisfaction you get from taking a company public is beyond words. All the pain and anguish you go through along the way evaporates when you hit a success. And this success is addictive – it drives you to keep going, to find success again and again.
You have a sense of control over your own destiny in a start-up that no other business situation can give you. It’s raw. It’s natural. It feels centred around your personal goals. It’s an amazing feeling.
And entrepreneurial success is much more rewarding than doing it for someone else. It feels better. It feels like ...
