Abstract

To properly find and fix real documentation and design issues and to reduce the engineering change backlog, all but the smallest company needs a request process. A change of attitude about the treatment of requests—rejection is okay. A well-designed request form and flow process. The CM organization and executive champion to be the owner of the process.
