Some companies need to connect Unity with their existing voicemail system. This is a common request during a migration period. Often customers choose to test the new system by deploying a pilot group of users. These users still need to send and forward voicemail to users on the existing voicemail server. This is where Unity/Connection networking comes in. Networking enables companies to almost seamlessly integrate Unity/Connection with an existing voicemail server. Not only does networking enable you to connect with a traditional voicemail server, but it also permits multiple Unity/Connection servers to be connected together and act as a single system.
