Creating Cost Elements Automatically

Primary cost elements can be created either manually or through an automatic batch run. The automated approach is recommended when you’re first creating your cost elements because it is the quickest solution and because you are probably creating your GL accounts at the same time and also using the automatic batch creation. We’ll cover the three-step process in the following sections. The first step is to define the relationship between the account range and category. The second step is creating a batch input session, and the third step is executing the session.
