Activity Types and Statistical Key Figures
Activity types and statistical key figures are the last two types of master data maintained within Cost Center Accounting. Each type is important to tracing and allocating internal activity within the Controlling-module environment. Activity types are used by SAP to allocate, both directly and indirectly, expenses based upon an amount of output for a given cost center. The activity type becomes the vehicle through which the quantities are tracked. Examples of activity quantities include the following:
- Production hours
- Lbs. produced
- Energy consumed in kWh
