Order Settlement Configuration
Settlement is the process of moving costs incurred on a sender object to one or more receiving objects. In the case of an internal order, costs are incurred on the order through goods issues or receipts, journal entries, internal activity allocations, or other settlements and settled to a cost center, order, fixed asset, or account, just to name a few. All offsetting postings on the sender are posted automatically, and the receiver will retain the history of the posting even if it in turn makes another settlement.
