Profit Center Accounting: Planning
You can choose between two standard approaches of Profit Center Accounting planning within SAP: planning the profit center manually and transferring plan data from other CO applications. In many instances, PCA planning is a combination of both types. From a configuration viewpoint, the preparation to use manual planning is a more involved process and is similar to the process we discussed in Chapter 10. The development involved in transferring plan data is centered around CO version maintenance, with some order type configuration sprinkled in. Because the manual approach requires the majority of the configuration effort, most of this section will be dedicated to this approach.
