Program Types, Investment Measures, and the Investment Profile
Begin your Investment Management configuration by creating the program type, which could be described as the backbone of the investment program. As we’ve mentioned before, just about 80 percent of all activities within the SAP systems are started and controlled by some sort of type, and this is no exception. The investment program provides an enterprise-wide view of capital spending and budgeting through a hierarchical representation. Two steps are associated with program type development:
1. Create the program type.
2. Assign objects approved for use with the program type.
