10Changing for Good

Dobbin Buck is a changed man. In his 30s, he was destitute, on drugs, and devoid of any drive to live. By his own account, he was nearing a dead end. Dobbin snapped out of it, turning around his life in stunning fashion. As I write this very paragraph, Dobbin is enjoying a week with his family in Costa Rica, soaking up the good life in a gorgeous mansion on a picturesque, private beach in paradise.

Twenty years removed from those dark days, Dobbin now runs a successful business and he leads a beautiful life. He and his two business partners run a digital marketing agency called GetUWired. They have over 50 employees. They're on a mission to help small businesses grow more efficiently, helping their clients implement Lifecycle Automation, our fifth Key to Success. I've seen firsthand how GetUWired produces remarkable results in their clients' businesses. Dobbin loves what he and his team do to help small businesses grow with Lifecycle Automation.

What changed for Dobbin? Well, aside from getting a scare that he would end his life and throw away all possibilities and opportunities, he realized he needed to change for his family. Life “shook him by the lapels” and woke him up to who he could be and what he could become. To Dobbin's credit, he made swift changes and got on track to a productive life. But it's the changes he made over time, gradually and consistently, that ultimately produced the success he is enjoying today. And it will be the continued changes ...
