Stage 6Handover and Close Out
Chapter overview
This is an important stage for conservation projects and many feel it is a moral duty to make available and pass on as much information about the building as it is possible to compile, because so much tends to be found out or confirmed when a building is opened up and such opportunities may present themselves only once in a generation or even less frequently. Normally the information is passed on to the client, the building owner or their management team, but there may also be instances when some material at least should go on public record.
