Case Studies of E-Consumer Protection in ASEAN

Introduction

The previous chapters have discussed the current governance framework and proposed an extension governance framework that includes e-consumers. This chapter aims to strengthen the justification for the proposed framework by examining how the selected e-retailers comply with the existing regulations and practice e-consumer protection, and the importance of cooperation among all sectors in the proposed governance framework to improve e-consumer protection in e-retailing.
