The Project
This development on the outskirts of Cardiff in South Wales is set in an old farmyard. One of the existing outbuildings has been renovated, and on the opposite side of the yard are the green, turfed roofs of nine new-build dwellings, all exceeding Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) level 4. Open-ended gardens and a shared garage ensure easy interaction between residents, and there is a lovely community – unusual for such a recent development.
