How are the framework conditions for the German civil society and how is it affected by the so-called shrinking civic space?

After a brief introduction in the topic of the shrinking civic space and a short recall about the framework conditions for civil society this paper will give an overview on the recent developments and cases in this matter, also under the consideration of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
