SYNOPSIS
Defects need to be classified as per their class irrespective of the nature of the process. Here, the class of defects are identified as human dignity, unhygienic factors, housekeeping, mistake proofing, process consumables, clearance gate, gaps in defect prevention measures, misinterpretation of work instructions and standard operating procedures, gaps in customer linkage, hidden defects and process capability.
