Phase 5 Activities: Continue

Learner empowerment and the realization of a transformational learning experience are the ultimate goals for the final phase in the Phases of Engagement model. The reflective portion of this phase allows students to see how far they have journeyed since the beginning of the course. The application of the content knowledge in the community allows for a validation of the learning experience and students’ newly enhanced skills. The combination of reflection and application as the cornerstones of Phase 5 activities result in students engaged not only with their own knowledge acquisition but with their fellow learning community and the global community.
