Abstract
This chapter presents a stochastic mixed-integer second-order cone programming model for the operation of grid-connected (GC) and standalone (SA) three-phase microgrids. The proposed formulation minimizes the imported energy cost from the main grid in GC mode, as well as the unserved energy during a certain period of time during planned disconnection from the main grid due to intermittent supply or planned outages.
