Staffing for convergence: Crew selection

Abstract:

Converged organizations offer unique staffing opportunities, and often will attract staff with different skills and professional goals than traditional libraries or technology organizations. They also have unique challenges for staff to navigate. This chapter examines these issues in detail and provides guidance on how to create uniquely rewarding employment opportunities for staff taking full advantage of the benefits of converged organizations.
