Abstract
Digital forensics is a crucial aspect of modern-day investigations (using emerging technologies), with the increasing use of digital devices and technology in everyday life. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) (as examples of emerging technologies) can revolutionize the field of digital forensics, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of investigations. This paper explores the opportunities and challenges of AI, blockchain, and IoT-enabled technology for digital forensics. It discusses how these technologies can be utilized to analyze digital evidence, track and trace the origin of data, and enhance the security and integrity of digital evidence. The paper also examines the issues and challenges that need to be addressed to enable the adoption of these technologies in digital forensics, such as the need for standards, interoperability, and legal and ethical considerations. The paper provides examples of successful applications of AI, blockchain, and IoT in digital ...
