Beyond the American Model

A recurring theme of these conversations, perhaps unduly overshadowed by others, is that leadership can be culture-specific. Since the fundamental issues of leadership are simply echoes of the critical issues of life, we won’t expect them to be treated the same way across the globe. In assembling this book, I have tried to bring leadership thinkers from Europe, China, and India together with those from the United States.
