Anxiety can seriously impair performance, drain energy, and make people difficult to work with. As people become anxious, their ability to be flexible and to respond to others' ideas and wishes wanes. Anxiety is often seen as an indelible part of someone's personality when in fact it is often a treatable condition. Treating it can rapidly help the person to become much easier to work with and more productive.
