Invincible to Depressed and Back
There are high-level executives and professionals with bipolar disorder. Between episodes, they may function without impairment. Every few months or years, however, they may slip into either depression or mania and do tremendous damage to their company, career, family, life, and health if someone does not step in quickly to prevent them from making destructive decisions. Knowing the signs of depression and mania and taking steps to intervene when someone has impaired judgment as a result can avert irreversible damage.
