2.2. Basic Text Elements
The basic text section elements include P (basic paragraph), PRE (preformatted text where white space is preserved), ADDRESS (for listing contact information), and BLOCKQUOTE (for large quotations or for regular paragraphs with indented left and right margins).

The P element designates basic paragraphs, resulting in a section of text with blank space above and below. Although P is a container, the end tag is optional and most other block-level elements imply an end to the previous paragraph.
