Adding Text to a Document

The following sections explain how to add artistic and paragraph text to a document, convert from one text type to the other, and edit the text.

To add artistic text to a document:

1.	Select the Text Tool (Figure 11.1) or press . Figure 11.1. Select the Text Tool from the toolbox. The pointer changes to a cross-hair with a tiny “A” attached to it.
2.	Click where you want the artistic text to start. A vertical line called the insertion marker appears where you click.
3.	Type the text.
