Acquiring Images

CorelDraw 10 can acquire images directly from a connected scanner, digital camera, or desktop video camera. The images are placed directly into the drawing window, ready for you to add personal touches and effects. However, before you can download (or acquire) images, you'll need to install your image source's software and tell CorelDraw what device you have.

To configure CorelDraw to use a connected image source:

1.
Make sure that the camera or scanner is correctly connected to your computer and then turn on the device.

Choose File > Acquire Image > Select Source. The Select Source dialog box appears, listing all properly connected and configured video capture sources (Figure 16.19).
