It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 12. Fun with Text
In the last chapter, you learned how to add text to yo ur projects. This chapter takes text one step further, making it into a design element that enhances your graphics.
This chapter will show you how to skew and rotate text objects and create shadows two different ways—by duplicating the text object and using the Interactive Drop Shadow Tool. Then you will fit artistic text to a path. From there, you will add bevels and extrusions to text using the CorelDraw 9 Interactive Extrusion Tool, then rotate the text for amazing three-dimensional effects. Next, you will modify characters' shapes using the Shape Tool. Finally, you will take what you have learned in previous chapters to highlight text with eye-popping neon effects. ...
