CHAPTER 22 Lens Effects, Transparency, Shadows, Glows, and Bevels
When you need something more than distortions, blends, and contours, but your design doesn’t require a full-blown 3D extrude look, elements of photorealism can push a design in your intended direction. This chapter takes a look at automated—and a few manual—techniques you can use to add shadows, an engraved look, and reflections and highlights to a composition.
