There is no doubt that most of the people currently living on this planet have not seen anything like the coronavirus pandemic. They will have no memory to fall back upon to understand what COVID-19 has done to this world. Words like ‘pandemic’, which belonged to the dark ages when humankind was completely at the mercy of nature, became mainstream all of a sudden. Life, as more than half of the people in the world knew it, changed completely.
