COUNTRY SENTIMENT FOR CORONAVIRUS NEWS
We have been collecting coronavirus-related news for several countries since February, as the deadly pandemic turned global. The idea was to look at the news for underlying sentiment and see if there are any connections between the on-ground situation and the news sentiment. On the basis of extensive sentiment analysis for more than 30 countries, the results are interesting. We will come back this a little later. However, in summary, the EMAlpha Sentiment Analysis closely mirrors the on-ground situation in several countries.
