The motion picture script is a very specialized form of writing that serves multiple purposes. First and fore- most, it is designed to accurately communicate the writer’s visualization to the director. This clear commu- nication assures that the director will be able to faith- fully reproduce the written scenes in live action.
Second, the script is an approval and budgeting tool for the producer.
